Pete's Grille is an awesome diner with excellent service. My favorite dish is the simple 2 eggs with fried ham and home fries. Good coffee too.

So this is an old-school eat-at-the-bar place. Good coffee, great prices, huge portions, a menu with Only The Essentials and a takeout window if you want it to go. And they serve Rapa scrapple like civilized people, not the other stuff that tastes like fried grout. Good call.

Worst customer experience ever. I understand covid 19 but they have no order for picking up orders, the woman at the window is very rude and isn't actually looking for orders. You are waiting for over an hour after you already called in or if you're picking up an uber order. They have food just sitting not on warmers. I would not eat here until covid 19 is over.

Everything was amazing, love the coffee shop vibe. I had grits w/butter and cheese, scrapple and toast with coffee. And I did try the special sauce, it has a nice bit of heat🔥 just how I like it. I will be going again really soon.

Fantastic no frills breakfast, quick service too. Tasted great, price was on the high side of fair but no complaints. Seating is cramped along the bar so be ready to eat while basically sitting in the lap of the person next to you though.

This place is billed as Baltimore's best breakfast, which is accurate. The menu is simple - classic diner food like chipped beef and gravy, pancakes, scrapple, eggs and bacon- but the food is cooked to perfection. The space is tiny and usually full, so you may have to wait until a spot opens up and it would be hard to sit a large party together. The waitresses do a good job of managing the space and you'll get seated pretty quickly and served in an appropriate amount of time.

The food is always delicious and plenty. I've never had an order come out that was sub par which is why Pete's is the ideal breakfast spot. They close early afternoon, so it's important to get in early. The seats are almost always full so your in for a wait depending on the number in your party. They've also changed the front layout so that people can order from outside. That means there are even less seats inside, so be prepared to wait and (did I say?) be patient, they take who ever comes in first but if there's 2 seats and your party is 3/4, they may seat others before you as opposed to asking everyone to scoot down. On a Sunday, parking is free, but your likely to find better spaces in the parking lot across the street than on the building. The waitresses can be candid/curt, but it seems they're work to get the order right in this always busy stop. Overall, Pete's is a nice place for a good breakfast. I highly recommend it.

My every Saturday morning place. Feels like home. Service excellent and food excellent. The owner is hilarious and they give you a punch card when filled you can redeem for $7, off your meal. Small space but customers make you feel like family.

I wanted to try this place for so long my food was horrible. I only got 3 shrimp. My Omelette was ok my daugthers was over cooked. They burnt my potatos never again. I wasted good money.

Great menu with excellent options. I noticed they even had turkey sausage which is an item many places do not offer. There's a long bar with many seats and over 90% of them were taken. The patrons seem to be friendly and it was easy to have conversations. I had creamy chipped beef on toast. My meal was outstanding and I highly recommend it. This place has a reputation of being one of Baltimore's best spots for breakfast, I agree.

Pete’s Grille is a diner “sit at bar” restaurant. Food was quick and delicious plus the staff is extremely friendly! We were out of town folks, and our waitress let us try scrapple and pork roll. What a tasteful experience, never having it before. Would possibly stop back to try their lunch.

Great comfort food and breakfast in the heart of Waverly. I like their online ordering system and they prepare your meals quickly so you are never waiting too long. The staff are super friendly as well.

I ordered a breakfast platter with a side of extra scrambled eggs/bacon and bacon cheeseburger. The side of eggs was just ONE egg hard and half cooked. No extra bacon, soggy toast and half cooked bacon. The bacon cheeseburger had no cheese half ,cooked bacon and RAW and barely room temp!!! No excuse for this kind of laziness

Pete's Grill was every bit as good as they say it is. The waitress was friendly, courteous, and efficient. The food was great!! Their secret sauce had a bite to it and complimented the food well. The pancakes were fabulous! Eat here!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Always good consistently. Repeat customer. Good prices, great food, small seating area (bar stools). Still worth the wait time, which is usually shirt for us. (Party of 2 or 3 usually) to top it off I can watch them cook which makes it a more sanitary experience. They frequently wash their hands too. The chef is awesome.

The food was just like my Mom used to cook. Not greasy but fresh and comforting to the soul. Pick up was easy at the window and the person who gave me my order was very pleasant. Thanks for good food and being courteous. We’ll be back!😉👍🏼

I love this place. It is my GO TO for breakfast! CLASSIC BALTIMORE!!! I' m getting new tile backsplash in my kitchen, can't use it to cook, no problem! Head to Pete's Grill. Mon-Thurs, 7am to 11am I think,they have a dine in special, pancakes or french toast with 2 eggs and your choice of meat! SO GOOD!!! GREAT DEAL!!! I just love it there!

Nice and homie like, the Belgian waffle was great!! Great customer service and we didn't wait long like other restaurants. And the most wonderful thing of all we didn't have no complaints or send backs. I will definitely come again!! ; )

I personal brought the Bacon blu burger 🍔 with onions rings........ I would have to give a shot out to the chef 👩‍🍳. It was the best burger I have ever had brought along with the golden onion rings. Complete perfection. I will be back. Thank you for my 1st experience at Pete' Grill.

This is a small counter only seating restaurant. I see why it is a neighborhood favorite. My scrapple & eggs combo was delicious. FYI they get fresh eggs daily. The server was quick & attentive. We will be back soon! Parties of 1-2 are easily seated. Due to the quaint size I don't know how long a larger party would have to wait to be seated.

The breakfast was awesome, the service was great. The wait time was minimal. They work like a fine oiled machine.

I went there with my family. I ordered their new morning special, which includes either pancakes or french toast, two eggs, and your choice of a breakfast meat. I got french toast with bacon and my eggs scrambled. The food was fairly good! However, after sharing with my family, I have come to the conclusion that the best combo is french toast, scrambled eggs(ask for it with cheese), and sausage.I really liked the decor, which included lots of funny signs.

The omlet was grewt, the home fires were not. The hime fries dis not have a drop of salt or pepper on them and its just not the same when you add it after its cooked. I would try it again hopefully it was just a one time thing.
